About Dr. Robert Jamieson

Dr. Robert Jamieson is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and is fellowship trained in Total Joint Replacement focusing on the hip and knee.

In 2014 he performed the first outpatient total joint replacement in all of northern California.

This means that the patient had her knee replacement done in the morning and was recovering at home by that afternoon.

Dr. Jamieson is focused on providing a frictionless patient experience throughout your journey with your hip or knee.

His areas of interest include narcotic free pain control after surgery, rapid recovery after surgery, outpatient total joint replacements, anterior approach to hip replacements and utilizing the latest technology, including robotics.

He is very involved in orthopaedic research and sits on the board for the Arthritis Foundation in the area.

Outside of his medical commitments his interests include spending time with his family, sports and serving in the community.

Dr. Jamieson is fluent in Italian, which he learned while serving as a missionary in northwestern Italy for two years.
